Opportunity
Support RBC Capital Markets' Liquidity, Funding and Payment Services pillar and its payments transformation roadmap.
Advance straight-through processing rates and controls for high-value payments across Capital Markets businesses.
Work across people, processes, data, and technologies with IT and business partners.
Responsibilities
- Map and redesign business processes, analyze current payment ecosystems, and identify automation and efficiency opportunities.
- Support product rollout readiness, including training, testing, and internal support.
- Develop roadmaps, dashboards, tracking tools, and stakeholder reporting for payments transformation.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with operations, legal, compliance, risk, vendors, and service providers.
- Provide thought leadership on technology trends, competitive landscape, and capital markets transformation.
Required Experience
- 5+ years as a Business or Product Analyst in financial institutions, especially capital markets or payments/cash management.
- 3+ years of hands-on agile development in a product owner role, including user stories and backlog refinement.
- Knowledge of ISO and MT/MX formats, SWIFT messaging, FX payments, and instant payments processing.
- Understanding of innovative technologies and current technology trends.
- Ability to work independently with technical and non-technical resources and complete tasks with limited supervision.
- Strong communication skills and familiarity with payment-processing, legal, compliance, and capital-markets obligations.
Preferred Qualification
- CSM or CTP certification is preferred but not required.
