Job Title: Senior Certificate Automation Engineer
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: December 31, 2026 (Possible extension)
Ideal Rate: $90- $95 (Based on Experience)
Remote/ Hybrid
Must haves:
- 5+ years of Security Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or Platform Engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with PKI, SSL/TLS and certificate lifecycle management.
- Experience with enterprise certificate automation.
- Hands-on experience with CyberArk Machine Identity Security / Venafi or an equivalent certificate management platform.
- Strong understanding of cryptography, certificate trust chains and machine identity security.
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault, preferably the Vault PKI Secrets Engine.
- Experience with several of: AWS Certificate Manager (ACM), EKS / Kubernetes, F5, Akamai, Microsoft Graph, Azure / AWS, REST APIs
- Strong automation experience with Python and/or PowerShell.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Git, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
- Knowledge of Linux/Windows administration, networking and load balancers/reverse proxies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong experience with Vault PKI.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Security+, GIAC or equivalent.
- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
