What you'll own
- Run job sites start to finish - layout, sequencing, quality, cleanup
- Lead a crew of 2–5 - direct the work, set the pace, hold the standard
- Be the customer's point of contact on site - answer questions, flag changes
- Keep jobs on schedule and on budget - materials, hours, waste
- Train the next generation - bring apprentices up to your level
- Own site safety - daily checks, hazard calls, everyone home safe
What you bring
Must-haves
- 4+ years landscape construction experience
- Proven crew leadership - you've run sites, not just worked on them
- Valid BC driver's licence + confident towing 10–14 ft trailers
- Strong across multiple trades: hardscape, concrete, carpentry, masonry, planting
- Can read plans and translate them into a day's work for your crew
- Reliable, organized, and calm when the day changes on you
Nice-to-haves
- Small equipment tickets (skid steer, excavator)
- First Aid certification
- Red Seal or trade certification
- Experience with site scheduling or crew apps
