About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Financial Analyst, FP&A to join a growing finance team and play an important role in supporting financial planning, reporting and business decision-making.
This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working with data, building financial models and partnering with teams across the organization. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure to FP&A while developing their ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights.
What You’ll Do
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting and KPI analysis.
- Prepare budget, forecast and variance analysis to help identify key business drivers.
- Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial planning activities.
- Develop and maintain financial models, reporting tools and analytical dashboards.
- Analyze financial and operational data from multiple sources and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Support bonus calculations and other recurring FP&A processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve, streamline and automate reporting and financial processes.
- Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis, business cases and other Finance initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support informed business decisions.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Commerce or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis, accounting or a related field.
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial models and large datasets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
- A proactive mindset and interest in process improvement and automation.
- Experience with ERP, FP&A or planning systems is an asset.
- CPA enrollment or an interest in pursuing the CPA designation is an asset, but not required.
