The Flex Fitness Studio is a high-end health club that offers an assortment of amenities within our facility. We are currently looking for a P.T Flex Welcome Partner. The Flex Fitness Studio Welcome Partner will be responsible for providing a sensational experience to our leisure guests and members.
Located in the heart of the Kanata Research Park; working at Brookstreet Hotel means redefining the hospitality experience in Ottawa.
We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Welcome Partner and Pool Attendant to look after our guests and manage the swimming pool area. In this role, you will be required to welcome and attend to our guests, enforce safety rules, and manage pool and gym equipment, keep a clean gym and pool environment, among other duties.
Requirements:
- Experience in guest/client services; experience in hospitality would be an asset.
- Formal training and certification in nutrition, fitness, and/or personal training an asset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification a must
- Must be available Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday's from 2:15pm-10:15pm
Job Profile:
- Ensure the pool environment is safe for guest by proactively monitoring for safety concerns.
- Maintain a positive and S.P.I.C.I.E.R attitude
- Ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and reporting maintenance issues
- Ensuring compliance to Ottawa Public Health and safety regulations, through consistent adherence to hotel quality standards.
- Setting up umbrellas, loungers, and other pool furniture during summer months
- Ensuring that the swimming pool, furniture, and facilities are clean and safe.
- Welcoming guests and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Providing guests with towels, shade and attending to their requests.
- Clearing used towels and trash.
- Enforcing safety protocols as set out by Public Health.
- Monitoring the activity of guests and ensuring their safety.
- Reporting any damages or incidences to the lead or Manager on Duty.
- Performing daily inspections and report maintenance or cleaning issues.
- Enroll new Gym members
- Upsell Personal Training sessions
- Collect Membership Fees.
- Create a welcoming environment to our Guests and Members
