What You’ll Do
As a Service Advisor, you’ll help guide customers through the entire service process, including:
- Greeting customers and creating a professional, welcoming experience
- Listening to customer concerns and accurately documenting repair requests
- Preparing and managing repair orders
- Communicating effectively with technicians and the Parts Department
- Explaining maintenance recommendations and repair options
- Providing accurate estimates and realistic completion timelines
- Keeping customers informed throughout the repair process
- Following up to ensure customer satisfaction
- Helping build long-term customer relationships and retention
- Working closely with the Service Manager to achieve department goals
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous automotive Service Advisor experience, preferably 2+ years
- Delivers excellent customer service
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Enjoys building relationships with customers
- Is organized, dependable, and solution-focused
- Can manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Understands automotive maintenance and repair processes
- Works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Has experience with dealership management systems such as PBS, CDK, or Reynolds & Reynolds - an asset
- Holds a valid driver’s licence
No dealership experience?
We’re also interested in candidates with strong customer service or service-writing experience in automotive, heavy-duty, agriculture, powersports, equipment, or related industries who are ready to learn and grow.
