Role Description This full-time, on-site Sales Specialist role is based in Aurora, ON. The Sales Specialist is responsible for engaging with customers in-store, identifying their mobility and wireless needs, and recommending suitable products, plans, and services. Daily activities include conducting product demonstrations, processing sales transactions, activating and upgrading devices, and supporting customers with account inquiries. The role involves meeting individual and store sales targets, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of wireless products and promotions, and contributing to merchandising and store presentation. The Sales Specialist also collaborates with team members, participates in ongoing training, and ensures a positive, professional customer experience aligned with Cellcom’s standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members.
- Demonstrated Sales abilities, including consultative selling and closing techniques, with a focus on meeting or exceeding targets.
- Experience in Training or coaching peers on products, services, and sales best practices is an asset.
- Background in Sales Management or leadership within a retail or telecommunications environment is beneficial.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, technology-driven retail setting, with the ability to quickly learn new products and systems.
- Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and common office software; previous telecom or wireless industry experience is an advantage.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
