Full time, in office, Vancouver. $85,000 to $95,000 depending on experience. Start late October or early November.
About Us
CleanStart Property Services is a leading provider specialized property services, trusted by housing providers, health authorities, and government agencies for work that requires experience, discretion, and care. Founded in Vancouver in 2010, the company focuses on challenging situations such as hoarding cleanup, extreme cleaning, pest control, junk removal, and full suite turnovers. The Role
The work ranges from the everyday to the ambitious. Some days you’ll be clearing a backlog of work orders. Other days you’ll be leading a project that changes how the company runs. Both matter, and you’ll do both. Day-to-day work will look like:
- Run the daily operation: bookings, scheduling and dispatch for our trucks, and the work orders behind them.
- Own customer invoicing and purchase order paperwork for our institutional accounts, and work with the CEO and our bookkeeper on the numbers behind them.
- Keep the fleet serviced, insured and tracked, and supplies ordered.
- Handle onboarding and offboarding paperwork for field staff.
- Keep our systems running, including website, project management system, HRIS, and GIS hardware/software.
- Take on larger projects as the company grows: new systems, new processes, training, and new lines of work.
- Be the first point of contact for customers when something needs sorting, and bring the rest to the CEO.
This role is the second seat in a new administrative structure. You’ll work side by side with the CEO, take ownership of whatever is handed to you, and be the person they rely on to get it done.
What We Are Looking For
- A degree in business, commerce, logistics or a related field and several years in business operations like client management, scheduling, dispatch, or similar for a medium- to large sized business.
- Someone who is at their best in complex situations: many moving parts, competing priorities, and problems nobody has documented yet.
- A fast learner who picks up new tools and processes and figures things out without waiting to be shown.
- Comfortable well beyond office software with experience using complex project and business management systems.
- A working understanding of business bookkeeping and finance: reading a profit and loss statements, cash flow modelling, invoicing, purchase orders, costs and margins.
- Willing to do the routine work well and the big-picture work with equal care.
- Organised and direct, highly communicative, and good with customers and crews alike.
What we offer
- $85,000 to $95,000 depending on experience.
- A close working relationship with the CEO and real responsibility from day one.
- The chance to help build a sixteen-year-old company into its next stage, and to grow with it as it does.
- Work that changes lives, in a business that is run as a business.
- A long-term position for someone who wants to be part of what comes next.
