About the Role
At Riverbend Co-op, we know our equipment plays a critical role in supporting our operations and serving our communities. We're looking for an Assistant Equipment Team Sales Manager to join our Ag Solutions team.
What You’ll Do
As Assistant Equipment Team Sales Manager, you'll support the day-to-day equipment sales, movement, upkeep, and coordination within the Ag Solutions team, helping ensure equipment is ready, positioned safely, and available when needed.
- Assisting with equipment sales, customer inquiries, and the coordination of equipment availability.
- Moving, organizing, and positioning equipment around the yard or site as required, while following all safety procedures.
- Performing equipment inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and assisting with repairs as required.
- Completing work orders, service records, and maintenance documentation accurately.
- Assisting with parts inventory, ordering, and pickups when required.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
- Supporting yard and facility maintenance, including seasonal activities such as snow removal and grounds upkeep.
- Assisting with equipment compliance requirements, inspections, and safety checks.
- Supporting operational teams by helping ensure equipment is available, maintained, and ready for use.
- Performing other duties and special projects as assigned.
What You Will Need
- Experience working with trucks, trailers, agricultural, heavy-duty, or industrial equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable operating, moving, and positioning equipment safely
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Experience using tools, equipment, and shop machinery safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence or better
- Mechanical trade experience or related certifications would be considered an asset
