Original job description
Role : Responsible for courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route, ensuring shipments conform to service standards and providing customer support.
Key Duties : Operate vehicles safely, plan routes for efficiency, inspect packages, and maintain proper documentation. Represent the company professionally, seek additional business from current customers, and handle package loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning as needed.
Qualifications & Skills : High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with equipment. Must pass driver assessments, possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, and demonstrate good organizational and multitasking abilities.
Additional Requirements : Bilingualism (English and French) preferred. Knowledge of company operations and customs regulations is an asset. Candidates should adhere to safety regulations and operate equipment proficiently. Ability to work a minimum of four shifts per month in flexible scheduling.
