Collabera is seeking a Manager, Program Controls, Workflows & Governance to support multi-year Investment Platform Transformation within the Change Management team.
This is a net-new role that will serve as the primary point person for controls across the program. This person will be responsible for designing, implementing, documenting, and coordinating the program’s control framework, ensuring that business processes, workflows, and the broader transformation are appropriately governed from an audit and risk perspective.
we are looking for someone with a strong controls/audit or technology controls background combined with capital markets experience. The person needs to understand the investment platform and business/product environment and be able to translate audit and risk requirements into practical controls, documentation, workflows, and governance. This is not purely an audit oversight position — they need someone hands-on who can actually help build and implement the controls environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
The Manager, Program Controls, Workflows & Governance will act as the central controls lead for the Investment Platform Transformation, working closely with business/product teams, Change Management, Risk, Audit, Technology, Data, and other program stakeholders. They will design and implement controls, create and maintain supporting documentation and evidence, and ensure program processes and future-state workflows meet audit and risk requirements. They will support the development of the Target Operating Model by reviewing business workflows, roles, hand-offs, system/data touchpoints, access requirements, and embedded controls. The Manager will also coordinate audit and assurance requests, support access and segregation-of-duties governance, track control deficiencies and remediation, and provide leadership with reporting on control health, outstanding risks, and readiness.
Must-Haves:
- 7+ years of controls, audit, technology controls, operational risk, compliance, or program assurance experience, ideally supporting large-scale transformation programs
- CPA or professional controls/risk certification such as CISA, CIA, CRISC, CISSP, or equivalent
- Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing controls, including control documentation, evidence requirements, testing, governance, deficiencies, and remediation
- Capital markets/investment management experience, with an understanding of investment platforms, business/product processes, and the broader investment lifecycle
- Experience translating audit and risk requirements into practical controls, workflows, documentation, and governance processes
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across business/product, technology, risk, audit, compliance, and transformation/change teams
Plusses:
- Strong technology controls background and/or experience supporting controls within a major technology/platform implementation
- Experience developing or supporting Target Operating Models and future-state workflows, including roles, hand-offs, system/data touchpoints, controls, and approvals
- Experience with Black-Rock Aladdin or another major investment management platform, and tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Power BI, or GRC platforms
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification - preferred
