Role Description The Media Coordinator is a full-time, hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, with a mix of in-office and work-from-home flexibility. This role supports the planning, execution, and optimization of media campaigns across digital and traditional channels, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all media activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with media plan development, coordinating campaign assets and timelines, maintaining media schedules, and updating performance reports. The Media Coordinator will work closely with media planners, strategists, and account teams to conduct research, validate data, and help translate insights into actionable media recommendations. The role also involves liaising with media vendors, tracking budgets, and supporting campaign trafficking and quality assurance to help deliver effective, on-brief campaigns.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in media planning and media strategy, including familiarity with cross-channel campaign execution.
- Candidates should possess strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and collaborative teamwork abilities.
- Candidates should possess research skills, including the ability to analyze data, interpret audience insights, and support strategic recommendations.
- Candidates should possess marketing knowledge, including understanding of integrated marketing campaigns and basic principles of brand and performance marketing.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Comfort with media and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, ad platforms, reporting dashboards); willingness to learn new platforms.
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, advertising, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in the advertising and media industry, with a proactive, solution-focused approach and openness to working in a bilingual, multicultural environment.
