Responsibilities
Support thermodynamics-related issues for new and in-service aircraft, including ice and fog protection, pressure, temperature and flow analysis, avionics cooling, and thermal analysis of systems and structures. Focus on bleed air systems for the Global 7000 and 8000 programs, coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and flight test teams to resolve issues, plan tests, analyze modifications, and support certification.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering is required; a master's degree with relevant coursework in fluid dynamics, atmospheric icing, and heat transfer is an asset. Candidates need knowledge of MS Office and aircraft pneumatic systems and modeling, with CATIA V5 and programming experience considered assets, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills and availability for short-term travel.
