Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical aid within your scope of training.
- Maintain the vehicle and MTC Unit in good working condition.
- Keep all medical equipment clean, checked, and ready for use.
- Report any concerns or deficiencies to the Phoenix Management Team immediately.
- Complete regular inventory checks and ensure medical supplies are up to date.
- Maintain a high level of health and safety on site.
- Address all health and safety concerns immediately.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and thoroughly.
- Understand the complete layout of the project site.
- Work a 24 days on / 4 days off shift schedule, depending on the project.
- Use Word, Excel, and email for administrative tasks.
- Prioritize tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
- Provide the Field Supervisor with up-to-date project cost information.
- Identify change-order requirements and ensure charge rates are accurate.
- Maintain strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate professionalism at all times.
Requirements
- EMR Certification in Alberta.
- Valid, unrestricted registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
- Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Valid Driver’s Abstract required.
