We are seeking an experienced
Maintenance Supervisor to join a leading food processing facility in the
GTA region.
Pay - $100K - $120K
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Electrical team, promoting accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Serve as the primary technical resource for electrical troubleshooting and maintenance issues.
- Oversee site-wide maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and company policies.
- Drive initiatives to improve equipment reliability, maximize uptime, and reduce production downtime.
- Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including work planning, scheduling, and MRO inventory management.
- Collaborate with Operations and other departments to support production and achieve business objectives.
- Coordinate contractors, maintenance shutdowns, employee scheduling, and maintenance activities.
- Monitor team performance and support employee development, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide hands-on electrical support and participate in on-call coverage for electrical breakdowns as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or process environment.
- Valid Industrial Electrician (442A) license required; 309A license considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, TPM, process control, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Extensive experience in electrical and automation troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, Kinetix systems, and servo motors.
