Our
Windsor- Essex, ON based food manufacturing client is looking for the
Materials Planner for their facility.
Pay - $60-$65K:
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with raw material suppliers and vendors.
- Utilize SAP to monitor and maintain a consistent and sufficient supply of raw materials to support production requirements.
- Support the PPIC Manager in identifying and addressing potential raw material shortages or conflicts that may impact production schedules.
- Prepare vendor forecasts and manage purchase orders to meet production and inventory requirements.
- Maintain accurate SAP master data, vendor information, and supplier contracts.
- Monitor material availability and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
Job Requirements
- University degree or college diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Material Planning, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP; experience with ERP systems is an asset.
- 1 3 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience working with SAP in a materials, purchasing, or production planning function is an asset.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles is an asset.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
