Warehouse Receiver
Reports To: General Manager and/or Operations Manager
Status: Full-time, Regular

Reporting to the Warehouse Lead, the Warehouse Receiver is accountable for unloading products from delivery trucks, verifying that packing slips match the quantities delivered, and putting product away in racking using a sit-down and stand-up forklift. Other responsibilities include performing inventory counts, loading the delivery truck with packed jobs, and maintaining the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using a sit-down forklift to unload deliveries off trucks.
- Using a stand-up forklift to put away pallets in the racking.
- Verify delivery quantities are accurate.
- Input, record, order, maintain, and intercept parts/equipment/supplies against inventory requirements using system reports.
- Stage and prepare parts/equipment/supplies for pickup as required.
- Replenish truck stock.
- Assisting with inventory counts and parts/equipment recycling.
- Pick up and deliver parts/equipment/supplies as required.
- General clean-up of the warehouse, office area, and outside yard, including minor snow removal required to maintain a safe working environment.
- Occasionally may need to travel and work from other locations.
- Must be available for “standby” requests in emergency circumstances.
- This position will typically work alone or with one other person, ensuring coverage is maintained at the facility during operating hours.
Required Qualifications:
- The qualified candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and can work independently.
- Forklift training and stand-up forklift training is a bonus.
- Previous PC based experience (Excel).
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and keep up with forklift certifications
- Able to lift up to 23 kg.
- Proven commitment to safety
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Must be able to efficiently work independently
- Results-oriented, achieving high levels of individual and team performance.
- The ability to work occasional overtime and weekend hours the odd time.
- The successful incumbent must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent.
- Forklift experience
- Experience with Service Titan
- Inventory control experience
- Previous exposure to Purchasing (PO creation, follow-up, and system updates)
- 5S training
- Experience in HVAC/Plumbing industries
