Job Purpose
Duties include, but are not limited to, the Apprentice Electrician supporting the installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in Enoch Cree Nation facilities under the direction and supervision of a qualified Journeyperson Electrician or designated supervisor.

- Standard First Aid
- WHMIS training or willingness to complete training.
- Relevant workplace health and safety training.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
Education And Experience
- Registered as an Apprentice Electrician with Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training, or eligible and willing to register.

Working Conditions
- The Apprentice Electrician is required to work a total of 40 hours per week: Monday to Friday, 830 – 430 (with a one-hour paid lunch break); flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed.
- Primary location: Administration Building, with travel between facilities and apprenticeship training locations may be required.
- Must be physically fit; walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, crawl, stand for long periods of time or sit for long periods of time, and be able to lift 50lbs. or more materials and/or equipment, etc.
- Must be willing to be open to ongoing training on cultural competency or sensitivity training.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
- Must sign and adhere to the Enoch Cree Nation Confidentiality Agreement upon hire.
