Cloud Security Engineer (Golang, HashiCorp Vault)
Location: Montreal – Hybrid
Duration: Till end of year with possibility of extension
Pay: $63/hr INC / $54/hr T4
Role Overview:
Seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer with strong experience in Golang, HashiCorp Vault, and Azure/AWS/GCP to design and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop enterprise applications and security platforms using Golang.
- Design and manage HashiCorp Vault solutions, including secrets engines, authentication backends, policies, and plugins.
- Build cloud-native solutions across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Develop APIs, microservices, and platform services.
- Implement IaC and DevSecOps practices.
- Perform security reviews, threat modeling, vulnerability remediation, and compliance assessments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production environments.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and mentor junior engineers.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on Golang development.
- Strong OOP and software design principles.
- Strong HashiCorp Vault experience, including Enterprise, Secret Engines, Authentication Backends, Policy Management, and Plugin Development.
- Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Kubernetes and containers.
- REST APIs and microservices.
- CI/CD and DevSecOps.
- Authentication & Authorization, Encryption/PKI, security compliance, and distributed systems.
