Graphic Designer
Job Purpose:
The Graphic Designer produces high-quality marketing collateral across digital and print channels,
working from creative briefs to bring campaigns, brand and sales materials to life visually and to
prepare production-ready files that communicate key messages and drive engagement with target
audiences.
Accountabilities:
Work from creative briefs to design campaign, brand and sales materials using Adobe
Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign). Apply design fundamentals of layout,
typography, colour, hierarchy and composition within established brand guidelines.
Prepare files with correct bleed, trim and colour separations, package assets, and
coordinate with external printers and vendors on specifications, proofs and quality.
Design and adapt digital assets to the appropriate format, dimensions, resolution and
technical standards for each channel.
Translate approved copy, data and business information into clear, visually engaging
presentations and other designed materials using eective layout, typography, hierarchy,
imagery, charts and information design.
Create and format PowerPoint presentations, sales decks, executive presentations,
conference materials, templates and related visual communications that improve clarity
and audience understanding while preserving the intended message and story flow.
Apply brand guidelines, templates and inclusive-design and accessibility considerations to
all deliverables, balancing visual impact with brand requirements.
Manage project files, templates and the shared asset library, applying version control and
consistent naming conventions.
Design, format and lay out marketing emails and landing pages in Salesforce Marketing
Cloud so that they are visually engaging, accessible, easy to read and support campaign
engagement and conversion objectives.
Requirements:
Education:
Diploma or degree in graphic design or visual communications, or an equivalent portfolio.
Experience:
3-5 years of graphic design and production experience, ideally within a marketing or brand
environment.
Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, and
strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability to translate approved copy, data and complex business information
into polished, visually engaging presentations and marketing materials through eective
layout, typography, visual hierarchy, imagery, charts and information design.
Applied knowledge of print production, including bleed, trim, colour separations, file
packaging, proofing and vendor coordination.
Experience producing assets across social media, web, email, landing pages,
presentations, events and print formats.
Working knowledge of accessibility and inclusive-design principles.
Experience with Canva and Figma is an asset.
Strong attention to detail, organization, version control and the ability to manage multiple
concurrent design briefs and deadlines.
The pay range for this role is anywhere from 30-40 per hour with T4 and Incorporated rates.
