How you’ll make an impact
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, Loan Application Workflow, you’ll design, build, test and support full stack solutions that enable FCC’s loan application workflow and loan origination capabilities.
You’ll be part of a team responsible for delivering and improving technology that supports the loan application journey, working closely with developers, analysts, architects, business partners and other stakeholders across FCC.
We’re looking for a collaborative developer who can solve complex problems across modern enterprise applications and communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders – someone who brings a holistic development mindset, strong troubleshooting skills and the confidence to influence solution design while supporting a geographically dispersed Agile team.
If you’re an experienced full stack developer who enjoys working across the codebase, translating business needs into technical solutions and mentoring through informal leadership, this could be the role for you.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, test and support full stack application features for the loan application workflow domain
- Build and enhance responsive front-end solutions using modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and Angular
- Develop and integrate back-end services, APIs and data solutions using Java, Spring Boot and SQL
- Apply a holistic technical lens to understand how solutions fit across applications, services, integrations and the broader codebase
- Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes and contribute practical, maintainable solutions that support reliable delivery
- Collaborate in an Agile environment, communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and provide informal leadership to support team delivery
What you’ll bring to the team
Required qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, business or a related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in application development, software engineering or full stack development (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Extensive knowledge of full stack development practices, software development principles and coding best practices
- Solid knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and Angular
- Proven expertise developing back-end services and integrations using Java, Spring Boot and SQL
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and recommend scalable, maintainable solutions
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and business partners
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with loan origination, lending workflow or financial services technology solutions
- Informal leadership experience, including mentoring, coaching or guiding technical decision-making within a delivery team
- Experience applying a broad solution-design perspective that supports growth toward architecture-level thinking
Not sure you meet every requirement? We encourage you to apply anyway.
