Position Overview:
CAT Rentals is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee rental operations, service delivery, and customer interactions across our business. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence while ensuring exceptional customer experiences and operational performance.
As the Rental Operations Manager, you'll lead a high-performing team, oversee fleet utilization, drive process improvements, and manage financial performance. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of rental solutions while aligning safety, operational, and business objectives.
The anticipated base salary for this position is $115,000. Actual salary will be based on the candidate's experience.
Job Description:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of rental administration professionals on site
- Champion a safe, accountable, and high-performing work environment
- Oversee rental processes from inquiry to equipment delivery, ensuring compliance and operational excellence
- Manage rental contract audits, reporting, and continuous process improvements
- Coordinate fleet allocation and equipment readiness to support customer projects and maximize utilization
- Collaborate with branches to prioritize equipment needs, repairs, and turnaround schedules
- Manage billing accuracy, repair and maintenance costs, accruals, and financial reporting
- Resolve customer concerns and drive continuous improvement through KPI performance and operational excellence
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of rental industry experience with strong operational knowledge
- 3-5+ years of leadership experience leading teams and driving performance
- Valid class 5 drivers license
- Experience managing service delivery, customer relationships, and operational execution
- Knowledge of power generation, compressed air, temperature control, or related rental equipment
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage competing priorities
- Mechanical, electrical, or trades background considered a strong asset

- This position is a 7x7 rotational shift
- This position will be on site, not in branch
