What You Will Do:
- Provide administrative support to the Corporate Services team and help keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and assist with travel arrangements when needed.
- Respond to phone calls, emails, mail, and general inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare, review, and organize documents while ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, events, and special projects, including room bookings and catering arrangements.
- Order office supplies, monitor inventory levels, and support vendor and contractor coordination.
- Help maintain office spaces, equipment, security access, and workplace safety requirements.
- Provide guidance on administrative processes and help staff access the resources they need.
- Work closely with colleagues across the organization to support consistent processes and excellent service.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful workplace and assist with other administrative duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of (3) years of experience in an administrative support role is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Ability to take initiative, solve problems, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Experience working with vendors, contractors, or external service providers is an asset.
- Experience working with First Nations governments, Indigenous organizations, or Indigenous communities is an asset.
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills; French language skills are an asset.
- Committed to learning about and supporting Indigenous cultures, histories, and communities.
