Company Description Flame & Barrel is an independent, locally owned Steakhouse & Bar with a passion for exceptional food, quality drinks, and genuine hospitality. Following the success of our Windermere location, we are excited to bring the Flame & Barrel experience to St. Albert.

Our globally inspired menu, vibrant atmosphere, and commitment to outstanding guest service have earned us a reputation as one of Edmonton’s favorite dining destinations. We believe great restaurants are built by great people, and we are looking for a strong leader to help drive the success of our newest location

Role Description The Restaurant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Alberta, Canada, responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house and bar operations at Flame and Barrel. This role includes leading and scheduling staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards for food and beverage presentation and quality. The Restaurant Manager will manage hiring and training, monitor customer satisfaction, handle guest feedback, and support a safe, inclusive, and efficient work environment. Additional responsibilities include supporting inventory control, assisting with budgeting and cost management, coordinating with the kitchen and bar teams, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations

Qualification

Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on creating exceptional guest experiences.
Experience in Hiring and team leadership, including training, coaching, and performance management.
Excellent Communication skills for interacting with guests, staff, and vendors.
Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including menu comprehension, bar service, and service standards.
Previous experience in restaurant or bar management, preferably in a high-volume or upscale setting.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of basic budgeting, cost control, and inventory management principles.
Familiarity with health, safety, and food handling regulations applicable in Alberta, Canada.
Leadership style that promotes an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative workplace.
