At Laminex Hamilton, due to an internal promotion we are looking for a motivated Warehouse/Logistics Operator to support our busy dispatch and warehouse operations. If you're an experienced forklift operator who enjoys a hands-on role and takes pride in accuracy, customer service and getting the job done right.
About the Role
This is a hands-on warehouse and logistics role focused on the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of products. You'll load and unload trucks, prepare delivery documentation, pick and pack orders, and complete basic warehouse system transactions while working closely with drivers and transport providers. We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented team player who enjoys hands-on work and is eager to learn and grow.
This role requires flexibility to work between 5:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, on a rotating roster across a 45-hour week, including paid breaks.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- At least 3-5 years' experience within a warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environment.
- A current Forklift Licence (F Endorsement preferred) with proven experience loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
- Good computer literacy, including experience with warehouse or ERP systems such as BPICS, SAP, or similar.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and numeracy skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build positive relationships with drivers, transport providers and internal stakeholders.
- A strong commitment to health and safety.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team environment.
- A flexible, proactive approach and willingness to support the team wherever needed.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and develop.
