Foremost have an immediate opening for a Field Service Technician (HET)reporting into our Field Service Technician (HET) Supervisor . The successful candidate will be based out of our facility in Calgary, Alberta, and will be required to travel on an as-needed basis to various locations around the world to service Foremost equipment
Responsibilities:
- Commission and start up new equipment at customer sites
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, low voltage electrical, electronic and pneumatic systems
- Perform preventive maintenance, warranty work and corrective repairs
- Troubleshoot electronic control networks, wiring harnesses, sensors and control systems
- Train operators and maintenance personnel.
- Apply your technical expertise in our manufacturing facility, supporting equipment assembly, testing, commissioning, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
- Complete service reports and provide technical recommendations
- Travel throughout Canada and internationally to support customers
Qualifications :
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) certification
- Strong troubleshooting and advanced electrical diagnostic skills
- Experience reading electrical, hydraulic and technical schematics
- Excellente communication and customer service skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver License and Valid Canadian Passport
- Must have a complete line of tools necessary for all phases of mechanical and electronic assembly or repair.
