Foremost is seeking an Industrial Painter / Coater to join our team at our Stettler facility. While prior industrial coating experience is beneficial, it is not required, as we provide comprehensive, company-paid training for the right candidate. This role focuses on high-durability protection systems, including specialized confined space tank coating (no vessel work required), protective polyurea rockguard application, and precision top coating finishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Tank Coating & Lining: Prepare and coat internal tank surfaces safely within confined spaces.
- Polyurea & Rockguard Application : Learn to operate and maintain plural-component spray systems to apply thick-film polyurea and protective rockguard coatings.
- Surface Finishing: Apply high-quality industrial topcoats (epoxies, urethanes, to specification using airless, conventional, and spray systems.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all corporate safety protocols, participate in hazard assessments, and utilize proper respirators and PPE.
- Quality Control: Utilize wet/dry film thickness gauges and specialized instruments to ensure all manufacturer specifications are met.
Qualifications :
- Prior industrial painting, sandblasting, or spray-application experience is a strong asset but not mandatory.
- We will fully train candidates who possess a strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform physically demanding manual labour, work at heights, and operate comfortably in confined environments (tanks).
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Prior safety tickets (such as CSTS, First Aid, or Confined Space Entry) are beneficial, though company-funded training will be provided
