You don't need to be an RV expert. We hire people with experience in automotive, heavy-duty, marine, trailer, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other skilled trades and help them learn the RV-specific side of the business. The biggest difference? Variety.
One day you might be troubleshooting an electrical issue. The next, you're working on plumbing, an appliance, a furnace, or another mechanical system. You'll work on different RVs, different systems, and different problems throughout the week.
If you like working with your hands and don't want to do the same repair every day, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do
You'll inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain RVs so our customers can get back on the road. Your work may include:
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical, plumbing, appliance, structural, and mechanical systems
- Troubleshooting problems and identifying the right repair
- Servicing appliances, furnaces, water heaters, refrigerators, and other RV systems
- Performing maintenance and warranty repairs
- Completing repairs accurately and efficiently
- Documenting diagnostic findings, repairs, and parts used
- Working with Service Advisors and Service Managers to prioritize repairs
- Explaining repairs or maintenance recommendations to customers when required
- Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe
This is a hands-on role. You'll work both indoors and outdoors and should be comfortable standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and working around and inside RVs.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a technician, mechanic, or skilled tradesperson
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or similar systems
- Pride in your workmanship and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently while being part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A willingness to learn new systems and expand your technical skills
Saturday availability is required during our busy season (Spring & Summer).
