About the Role
The SAP Functional Analyst analyzes business requirements, designs and configures SAP solutions, and supports business processes across the SAP landscape. This role works closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, project teams, and external partners to deliver SAP enhancements, resolve issues, and improve business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and SAP solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Configure and support SAP applications, troubleshoot functional issues, and assess impacts of system changes.
- Support SAP implementations, upgrades, migrations, enhancements, and post-go-live activities.
- Develop functional specifications for reports, interfaces, workflows, and custom developments.
- Plan and execute testing, including test scripts and UAT, and coordinate testing with business users.
- Collaborate with technical teams, developers, and integration specialists to deliver effective solutions.
- Provide user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Support project planning, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with SAP in a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or SAP Consultant role.
- Experience implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP business processes.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation.
- Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.
SAP Experience
Experience with one or more of the following:
- SAP SuccessFactors / Employee Central
- SAP Payroll - U.S. and/or Canada
- SAP Recruiting & Onboarding
- SAP Time Tracking & Benefits
- SAP Concur
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP Integration Suite
SAP Payroll experience in Canada and/or the U.S. is considered a strong asset.
