Job Title: Technical Lead, ServiceNow
Location: G3 Head Office (On-Site)
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Platforms & Enterprise Architect, the Technical Lead, ServiceNow supports the adoption and ongoing development of ServiceNow capabilities at G3. This role works with development and service teams to design, develop, implement, and support ServiceNow solutions that meet business requirements. The position also contributes to the development of secure, scalable, and reliable web-based solutions and integrations that support business operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical guidance to development teams on the design, configuration, development, and support of ServiceNow applications using established best practices.
- Configure, develop, test, and enhance ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and related solutions by completing assigned work and supporting project deliverables.
- Manage and prioritize the ServiceNow backlog, including platform upgrades, automation initiatives, security enhancements, and system improvements.
- Support the ServiceNow Administrator in configuring, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions.
- Develop and maintain processes to support the refresh and masking of production data in non-production environments.
- Configure and support integrations between ServiceNow, Integration Hub workflows, Azure Data Factory pipelines, and other enterprise systems.
- Monitor and report on ServiceNow platform metrics, including utilization, performance, licensing, platform health, and related costs.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to the ServiceNow platform and associated applications.
- Contribute to maximizing the value of the ServiceNow platform by identifying opportunities to improve processes, automation, and service delivery.
- Support the development and maintenance of ServiceNow governance practices, standards, and processes.
- Evaluate new ServiceNow features and capabilities and provide recommendations based on business requirements, costs, and expected benefits.
- Develop and maintain roadmaps for ServiceNow enhancements and platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to support service delivery and business objectives.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum four years of experience configuring, developing, and supporting ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and integrations.
- Minimum three years of experience with web application development, JavaScript, DevOps practices, and source code management processes.
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations.
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies and application development practices.
- Experience analyzing technical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver work within established timelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience collaborating effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.
- ServiceNow and/or Microsoft Azure certifications are considered assets.
