As a Lead Dispatcher, you’ll be a critical point of contact for customers - helping schedule service, answer questions, solve problems, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to excellent service. What You’ll Do:
- Answer customer calls and emails professionally and promptly
- Manage a team of Dispatchers, supporting day to day operations
- Schedule and update services as needed
- Support billing, contracts, and reporting
- Coordinate with operations, sales, and shop staff
- Handle account questions and resolve issues
- Enter data and maintain accurate records
- Assist with general office and sales support tasks
- Distribute, collect and review route sheets for proper days end data entry.
- Dispatch calls to routes based upon designated route and driver location.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years in a transportation or dispatch role.
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable using Google Workspace suite of programs
- Friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Experience in waste or environmental services is a bonus
- Familiarity with Trux software is a plus
