Under minimal direct supervision, the diet clerk processes patient menus, ensuring that patient receives a meal that complies with diet order. The job is completed with a computerized setting within specific time lines. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Proficiency in keyboarding/data entry
- Demonstrated time management skills, organization, interpersonal and communication skills
- Food Handler Certification
- Medical Terminology Certificate
- Experience with computerized menu management systems, preferred
- Experience in CBORD/Meditech, preferred
- Food Allergen Certificate, preferred
