About the Role
We're seeking a Network Engineer to join a growing team of infrastructure specialists focused on enterprise networking, wireless technologies, industrial IoT environments, and core network infrastructure.
This is not a traditional desk-based network engineering position. You'll work directly with clients to design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize network solutions across enterprise, cloud, data centre, industrial, and operational technology environments. You'll have the opportunity to work with leading technologies from Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, VMware, and major cloud providers while supporting projects that range from corporate offices and data centres to industrial facilities and mine sites.
What You'll Do
- Design, configure, deploy, and support enterprise and industrial networking solutions.
- Implement routing, switching, firewall, wireless, and remote connectivity technologies.
- Build and support network infrastructure across data centre, cloud, enterprise, and operational technology environments.
- Participate in network modernization, expansion, and optimization projects.
- Conduct wireless assessments, site surveys, and coverage validation exercises.
- Design and support wireless infrastructure in both enterprise and industrial environments.
- Support Industrial IoT, operational technology (OT), and industrial control system networking requirements.
- Assist clients in securely connecting industrial assets to enterprise networks.
What You'll Bring
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Administration, or a related infrastructure role.
- Strong understanding of routing, switching, TCP/IP networking, subnetting, packet forwarding, and network protocols.
- Experience supporting enterprise network environments including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver practical solutions.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Industrial networking, Operational Technology (OT), Industrial IoT, or industrial control system experience.
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
- Fortinet certifications including FCP or FCSS.
- Experience with SD-WAN, network automation, or advanced wireless technologies.
- Experience working with cloud networking environments including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of network security principles and secure connectivity architectures.
