Your new role
As a Technical Representative within the Electrical Field Services team, you will provide advanced technical support, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for industrial power systems and electrical infrastructure.
- Perform commissioning, startup, testing, maintenance, and shutdown support on low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical power systems.
- Complete protection and control relay testing, including SEL relay programming, configuration, and commissioning activities.
- Conduct Omicron-based relay testing, verification, and troubleshooting of protection systems.
- Perform switchgear testing and commissioning, including breaker testing, inspections, and operational verification.
- Complete transformer testing, diagnostics, commissioning, and condition assessments for industrial power systems.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical, protection, and control system issues while providing technical support to customers and site personnel.
What you'll need to succeed
- Engineering Technology Diploma, Journeyperson Electrician certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical field service, commissioning, testing, maintenance, or power systems support within industrial environments.
- Hands-on experience working with low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical distribution and power systems.
- Proven experience performing relay testing and commissioning, including SEL relays and Omicron testing equipment.
- Strong background in switchgear, circuit breaker, transformer testing, and power system commissioning activities.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and protection systems while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.
