Receptionist

Job Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 6 Months to Perm

Pay Rate: Up to $23/hr

Location: Calgary, AB

Your New Company

Our client is a well-established organization operating within the energy sector, seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to join their team on a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative and fast-paced office environment while supporting day-to-day business operations.

Your New Role

As the Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. You will play a key role in creating a positive and professional experience while ensuring smooth front-office operations. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy office setting.

What You Need to Do

Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional manner
Manage incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
Coordinate visitor sign-in procedures and maintain office security protocols
Schedule meetings and support calendar management as required
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier packages, and deliveries
Maintain reception and common areas to a professional standard
Order office supplies and assist with inventory tracking
Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, document preparation, and record maintenance
Support various departments with general office coordination and administrative tasks
Assist with ad-hoc duties as assigned

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Previous experience in a Receptionist, Front Desk, Administrative Assistant, or customer-facing office support role
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional, courteous, and customer-service-oriented approach
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams)
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing demands
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability
