Rate: $24 - $28/hour
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Risk Analyst to support a global technology organization. This role is ideal for a credit professional who enjoys financial analysis, risk assessment, cross-functional collaboration, and driving process improvements. The successful candidate will help optimize cash collections, minimize bad debt exposure, and support revenue growth while delivering a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer financial statements, credit reports, and payment histories to assess creditworthiness.
- Monitor customer account performance and identify potential credit risks.
- Review and approve credit requests, payment terms, and account changes within established guidelines.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and internal stakeholders to resolve credit-related issues and recommend alternative solutions.
- Support collections initiatives to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables.
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and internal credit policies.
- Participate in acquisition integrations and strategic projects related to credit risk management.
- Identify opportunities to improve credit approval, risk assessment, and collection processes.
- Prepare reports and provide recommendations to leadership regarding customer risk profiles.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across the credit function.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of B2B credit, credit risk, collections, or financial analysis experience.
- Strong ability to analyze financial statements and assess commercial credit risk.
- Experience working within a global, technology, software, or high-growth business environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience working with ERP and CRM systems such as SAP and Salesforce is considered an asset.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization.
- CCP designation, accounting designation, or related financial credentials are considered assets.
- Bilingual communication skills are considered an asset.
