The Opportunity
We are seeking an Android Mobile Developer to join one of our delivery teams and contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of modern mobile applications. In this role, you will leverage Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to build scalable, high-performance Android solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders in an Agile environment.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
- Build modern, responsive user interfaces using Jetpack Compose.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Designers, and Developers to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Participate in application architecture, design reviews, and technical discussions.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Optimize application performance, usability, and accessibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and technical challenges.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with distributed teams.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Professional experience developing Android applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for building high-quality mobile experiences.
Core Skills Required
- Advanced proficiency in Kotlin.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Deep understanding of Android SDK and Android application architecture.
- Experience with MVVM and modern Android development patterns.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and backend integration.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and mobile application testing practices.
- Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
