Role Description The Esthetician is a full-time, on-site role based at Holt Renfrew in Toronto, ON. The Esthetician will provide high-quality skin care treatments and hair removal services, ensuring a safe, professional, and relaxing experience for each client. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients to assess needs, recommending appropriate products and services, and performing esthetic procedures in accordance with brand standards and health regulations. The Esthetician will support sales by promoting skincare and beauty products, maintaining accurate service records, and contributing to a welcoming, inclusive, and clean treatment environment. Collaboration with beauty advisors and other team members to deliver cohesive luxury experiences is also an important part of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in Skin Care and Hair Removal, with the ability to perform a range of esthetic treatments safely and effectively.
- Training or certification in Cosmetology or Esthetics from a recognized institution; provincial esthetician license or equivalent is an asset.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with a client-centered approach and the ability to build lasting relationships in a luxury retail environment.
- Sales skills, including product knowledge, upselling, and cross-selling beauty and skincare solutions aligned with client needs.
- Attention to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
- Previous experience in a spa, salon, or beauty retail setting, ideally in premium or luxury environments, is preferred.
