About This Role
We are recruiting for a
HR Coordinator to join the
Human Resources team at our
Burnaby head office.
In this role, you will support a range of Human Resources activities, including employee onboarding, HRIS administration, maintaining employee records, and coordinating training programs. You will serve as an important resource for employees and contribute to creating a positive employee-focused experience.
Here's how your role will strengthen our team.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS, including new-hire setup, employee updates, position changes, and terminations
- Maintain organizational charts and employee data to support accuracy and consistency
- Monitor work permit expiries and obtain updated work authorization documents to ensure compliance.
- Conduct new-hire surveys and analyze feedback to identify opportunities to improve the onboarding experience
- Coordinate employee training registrations, maintain the training calendar, and update training records.
- Administer security awareness training and the Easy Generator learning platform
- Provide administrative support for HR initiatives across the organization
Your Experience And Skills
- A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in Human Resources or an administrative support role
- Experience working with HRIS platforms. Knowledge of JDE is considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to handling confidential information appropriately
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A responsive, customer-service-oriented approach when supporting employees, managers, and other stakeholders

Salary range: $55,000 -$65,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered. Let's chat throughout the hiring process and determine the best fit.
