Administrative Assistant
Our client is seeking an experienced administrative professional to provide support with insurance administration, contract coordination and general administrative activities. This is a busy, detail-oriented role requiring someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities and can work independently with minimal training.
Location: Mississauga
Work Arrangement: 100% onsite
Term: Start as soon as possible; 3 months potential for extension
What You’ll Do
- Support insurance administration, including Certificates of Insurance, renewals and related documentation.
- Coordinate with insurance brokers and internal stakeholders to obtain and maintain required insurance information.
- Maintain accurate electronic insurance records and documentation.
- Support the annual insurance renewal process.
- Provide contract administration support across a large portfolio of agreements, including coordinating signatures, renewals and contract changes.
- Track documentation and ensure contracts and agreements are properly completed and filed.
- Provide general administrative support to the team as required.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of administrative or coordination experience.
- Previous experience within the insurance industry, ideally supporting property & casualty/commercial insurance.
- Experience working with Certificates of Insurance is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting insurance renewals, brokers, contracts or related documentation.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, as well as Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent organization, filing and document-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with RIBO, CAIB, CIP, and/or insurance CRM system would be considered an asset.
