We’re seeking a skilled Amazon Connect Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-scale contact center systems for a leading financial institution in Toronto. What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect
- Expertise in Contact Flows, Routing Profiles, Queues, IVR, and Call Routing Design
- Strong knowledge of integrating Amazon Connect with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch
- Experience using Amazon Lex for chatbot and voice bot solutions
- Solid understanding of telephony and voice technologies, including SIP, VoIP, CTI, and call routing
- Proven ability to design and support large-scale contact center infrastructure
- Troubleshooting skills for routing issues, call failures, and performance bottlenecks
- Experience with CRM integrations such as Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar platforms
- Strong Java development skills; knowledge of Python and JavaScript is a plus
- Exposure to Cisco Contact Center technologies (UCCE, CVP) is advantageous
- Familiarity with networking concepts like Routing, Switching, MPLS, SIP, and VoIP
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Relevant certifications in AWS or contact center technologies
- Previous experience in the financial services sector
