About the role:
We’re actively searching for a Millwright to join the Côté Gold team, with a start date to be determined, reporting to the Mill Maintenance Supervisor. The Millwright safely installs, maintains, troubleshoots, overhauls, and repairs industrial machinery and mechanical equipment across mine and mill operations while supporting planned maintenance activities.
As a Millwright, you play a critical role in supporting IMG’s purpose by ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of essential equipment. Your work helps maximize operational uptime, supports production goals, and contributes to a safe and efficient workplace for all team members.
Responsibilities:
- Safely install, maintain, troubleshoot, overhaul, and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment throughout mine and mill operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings to determine work procedures and equipment requirements.
- Install, align, dismantle, and relocate industrial equipment, including pumps, conveyors, fans, tanks, generators, and associated systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Inspect equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and perform repairs, adjustments, and component replacements to ensure reliable operation and minimize downtime.
- Maintain and troubleshoot power transmission, pumps, crushers, apron feeders, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, while ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Operate hoisting, lifting, and machine shop equipment, including cranes, jacks, lathes, and grinders, to support maintenance activities and fabricate required components.
- Champion operational excellence by continuously developing technical skills, identifying improvement opportunities, mitigating risks, and collaborating with team members to resolve issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve operational reliability, maintain accurate equipment and shift records, mentor new employees, and communicate maintenance priorities and deficiencies effectively.
Key Skills & Knowledge:
- College diploma in industrial mechanic millwright or another related field.
- Certificate of Qualification in Ontario is preferred.
- Completed apprenticeship is required.
Relevant Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
- Previous experience in open pit mining or mineral processing (specifically gold processing) is considered an asset.

Salary Range: $89,000 - $133,500 + Bonus
