The Position:
We’re looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead our South Surrey team. The candidate we will select will be able to thrive in a high-paced environment and be a collaborative team leader. This is a full-time, permanent role.
A Day on the Job:
As the Restaurant Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, lead and motivate staff, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and cleanliness. You’ll manage scheduling, inventory, training, and be the go-to person for both team members and guests, assisting in daily operations onsite.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles, specifically in kitchen and operations. Experience in pizza is an asset, but not a requirement.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Commitment to daily store operations
- Class 5 driver's license
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Resilient attitude and high work ethic
- Ability to work a combination of days, evenings, and weekends
- Food Safety and Serving It Right certifications (required or willing to obtain)
- Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
Responsibility Highlights:

Full Responsibilities:
Operations
- Managing day-to-day restaurant operations.
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
- Maintaining Ignite's standards for food quality, service, and hospitality.
- Ensuring compliance with all company policies and operating procedures.
Team Leadership
- Recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising store employees.
- Conducting performance reviews and coaching team members.
- Promoting a positive and professional workplace culture.
- Managing labour costs while ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
Financial Performance
- Monitoring sales, labour, food costs, and controllable expenses.
- Supporting initiatives to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Ensuring accurate cash handling and daily financial reporting.
- Protecting company assets and inventory.
Inventory and Food Safety
- Managing ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
- Minimizing food waste and product loss.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable food and liquor (if applicable) safety regulations and health standards.
Guest Experience
- Maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Supporting community engagement and local marketing initiatives as directed.
