Our client:
A global automotive manufacturing organization based in the North York region.
Intro paragraph:
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a major SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation. This role will lead key project activities across Finance, IT, business stakeholders, and implementation partners within a complex manufacturing environment.
Principal tasks and responsibilities include:
· Lead project planning, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
· Manage Finance transformation workstreams from requirements through implementation.
· Coordinate Finance, IT, SAP functional teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
· Lead workshops and drive requirements, decisions, and issue resolution.
· Oversee testing, data migration, cutover, and go-live activities.
· Provide project updates, reporting, and escalation to senior leadership.
· Ensure alignment between SAP capabilities, Finance requirements, and business objectives.
Qualifications and pre-requisites:
· 5+ years of Project Management experience within ERP, Finance transformation, or large-scale business transformation.
· Proven SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation or transformation experience.
· Strong understanding of Finance processes and ERP environments.
· Experience working with Finance, IT, Operations, and senior stakeholders.
· Manufacturing or automotive experience strongly preferred.
· Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
· Proven ability to manage complex projects, competing priorities, and external implementation partners.
· PMP or equivalent certification is an asset.
Additional information or perks:
· Approximately $120/hour based on experience.
· Initial 6-month contract with potential to extend.
· Hybrid role based in North York.
· Onsite 1-4 days per week depending on project requirements, with increased onsite presence during key project phases.
· Immediate or short-term availability preferred.
