This senior leadership role will shape national sales strategy while elevating customer and broker experiences across the organization.
You’ll lead strategic growth programs, sales effectiveness initiatives, and technology projects that enable high-performing teams.
The role combines commercial strategy, analytics, operational improvement, and relationship management in a complex insurance environment.
You’ll work closely with senior executives, regional sales leaders, business development teams, and other key stakeholders.

Accountabilities
- Lead the development and execution of national sales strategies, programs, and strategic growth initiatives aligned with broader business objectives.
- Monitor sales performance against key metrics, business goals, and strategic priorities, identifying opportunities for improvement and taking corrective action where needed.
- Partner with regional sales leaders, business development managers, and senior stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and drive consistent execution across the organization.
- Improve sales effectiveness through reporting, analytics, process optimization, performance measurement, and data-driven decision-making.
- Lead strategic sales technology initiatives that improve team effectiveness, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders while maintaining a strong understanding of customer and distribution needs.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to teams and sales champions, establishing a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate strategic recommendations, performance insights, and priorities effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Champion customer-centricity and ensure sales initiatives support both profitable growth and an exceptional broker and customer experience.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in Property & Casualty Insurance, Business Development, Sales, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of developing teams and driving performance.
- Proven experience developing and implementing sales strategies, national programs, and business growth initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, distribution channels, market dynamics, and broker relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to use reporting, analytics, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and improve sales effectiveness.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, influencing, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate ideas into measurable outcomes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Customer-focused leadership style with the ability to build trust, inspire teams, and drive organizational change.
