Rig Setup Production Associate, you’ll be at the forefront of optimizing manufacturing operations and improving production throughput. Your expertise in
process optimization, press setup, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement will be critical in maximizing productivity, reducing downtime, and ensuring high-quality production performance.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Improve operational throughput through process optimization and monitoring.
- Document process changes, setpoints, programs, and parameters through established control systems.
- Reduce downtime by executing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
- Identify non-standard operating conditions and communicate them to Production Supervisors for resolution.
- Optimize utilization of tooling, labor, materials, and energy resources.
- Set up, monitor, adjust, and maintain mechanical and hydraulic presses according to established procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation, throughput, and product quality issues.
- Review process sheets, technical documentation, and assembly information to execute job requirements.
- Perform equipment cleaning, TPM activities, and minor repairs to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Maximize production output through continuous improvement initiatives and process monitoring.
- Provide training and leadership to Production Associates to ensure production and quality requirements are met.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and operational excellence initiatives.
- Support compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Systems.
What We’re Looking For:
- Post-Secondary Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma, Manufacturing Engineering Technician Diploma, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating and setting up manufacturing equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and results orientation.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with coining presses.
- Experience working within a Lean Manufacturing environment.
- Experience setting multi-level die sets.
- Familiarity with CNC controls and sequence controls.
- Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement initiatives.
