Our Non Profit partner, is currently recruiting for various manufacturing positions including, Motor/ Generator Assembler, Coil Assembler, Winder, Lathe Mechanist, Industrial Motor Painter, Overhead Bridge and Jib Crane Mechanist, Recruiter, and Technical Buyer.
Requirements:
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Must be available to work 40 hours per week.
Must be willing and available to work assigned shifts in a 24-hour production environment, including:
Morning: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Afternoon: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
Night: 10:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Must be able to reliably commute to the Highway 7 and Jane Street area in Vaughan for the assigned shift.
Must be able to provide a SIN number.
Must have health insurance, stable housing, and reliable childcare, if applicable.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English at approximately CLB 4 or higher.
Must have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
Must have experience operating hand and power tools, such as:
Lathes
Drill presses
Milling machines
Calipers
Soldering equipment
Must be able to read basic wiring and technical diagrams, drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and instructions.
Must have basic math and measurement skills.
Must be willing to complete a criminal record/background check before employment.
Must be prepared to undergo routine alcohol and drug testing, if required.
