Location: Port Coquitlam, BC
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:40 PM, 5 days in-office
Salary: $57,000 – $65,000 annually

Kelly Services is hiring a full-time, permanent Purchaser for our client, a leading automotive parts distributor located in Port Coquitlam, BC. This is a great opportunity for an experienced purchasing professional who is comfortable working in a high-volume environment with a large number of SKUs and suppliers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage high-volume purchasing activity across a large number of SKUs
- Place, track, and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery
- Manage relationships with a portfolio of suppliers and act as a key point of contact
- Monitor vendor performance, including lead times, fill rates, on-time delivery, and communication
- Follow up and expedite orders when necessary to prevent delays
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure purchasing needs are met
- Process and resolve claims related to shipment, product, or invoice discrepancies
- Maintain accurate purchasing, supplier, and shipment records
- Prepare reports and analyze purchasing and supplier performance data
- Identify issues and work with vendors to find timely solutions
- Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Support additional procurement and administrative activities as required
Required Experience/Skills:
- 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience
- Experience managing a high volume of SKUs is required
- Experience managing multiple vendors/suppliers
- Strong experience with purchase orders, order tracking, expediting, and supplier follow-up
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with internal teams
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, with intermediate/advance Excel skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
