Summary
- Seeking an experienced MES Technical Lead to provide technical leadership and hands-on engineering support for the Manufacturing Execution Systems landscape. The role will own architecture, integrations, operational readiness, and platform reliability while actively participating in troubleshooting, implementations, upgrades, and deployments across global manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead MES architecture, technical strategy, and roadmap while remaining actively involved in delivery and support.
- Design, build, test, and troubleshoot integrations between MES, SAP, PLM, reporting, and shop-floor systems.
- Perform hands-on implementation, configuration, upgrade, release, deployment, and environment support activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement reliability, monitoring, and performance improvements.
- Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational readiness planning.
- Partner with vendors, infrastructure teams, business stakeholders, and delivery teams.
- Establish technical standards, documentation, and support best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years supporting MES or manufacturing systems, including technical lead or architecture experience.
- Experience with Siemens Opcenter, Camstar, CelFusion, Apriso, or a comparable MES platform.
- Strong SAP integration experience and knowledge of manufacturing execution processes.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server, APIs, middleware, cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting, and DevOps practices.
- Ability to balance technical leadership with hands-on engineering, troubleshooting, and operational responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Semiconductor manufacturing experience.
- Azure and Azure DevOps experience.
- Experience supporting global manufacturing sites.
