Role Description The Accounts Receivable Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Georgetown, ON. This position is responsible for managing customer accounts, processing and reconciling invoices, and ensuring timely cash collection in alignment with company policies. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring outstanding balances, following up with customers regarding overdue payments, and addressing billing or account discrepancies in a professional manner. The role also involves collaborating with accounting and operations teams, maintaining accurate records in the accounting system, and preparing reports related to accounts receivable status. The Accounts Receivable Representative is expected to deliver a high level of customer service while supporting the financial health of Kuthala Group.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills to manage client inquiries and payment discussions effectively.
- Experience in cash collection and invoicing, including monitoring aging reports and following structured collection processes.
- Foundational accounting knowledge, with the ability to reconcile accounts, interpret financial data, and use accounting software.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and prioritize multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office software; familiarity with ERP or accounting systems is an asset.
- Ability to work on-site in Georgetown, ON and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role; post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred.
